Born in Vancouver, Canada, it was at 5 years of age, that Kunja’s father gave him his first instrument, the Harmonium. With it he gave a melody, a chord progression and the words “it’s all yours son”.

He sang and performed on the streets of India, the USA and Canada to audiences of thousands, all by the tender age of 10.

In his early teen years he fell in love with English Rock Music, especially the drums and John Bonham.

By his late teens he had entered the Berklee Music affiliated program in Nelson B.C, where he continued to fuse his love of melody and rythm.

Kunja, moved to London, touring with Breakbeat stalwarts The Freestylers, Hip Hop band SeventhSun , and the ground breaking irreverant funk band Superthriller. During this time, he delved into sound design and composition, scoring for short films, documentaries and advertisements which have been shown in Cinemas, Art Galleries and Television audiences all over the world.

He now lives in Rio de Janeiro with his fiance and youngest child.
